Once upon a time, two friends dreamed of opening a coffee shop together, a place where friends and neighbors could meet. Growing up in Russia, these friends wanted to share their tradition of homemade piroshkis, the sweet and savory treats that were a staple in their mothers' kitchen. In the spring of 2012, these two friends finally had the opportunity to share their ambitions and their love of piroshkis with the Portland community. They moved into a space on Southwest Yamhill Street and made it their own.

Piroshki & a Pickle focuses on serving the freshest coffee and authentic Russian meals that are made from scratch and baked to perfection. The coffeehouse provides customers with a friendly, fun, and relaxing environment.
